So, what now?

Well that’s it. No more football. No more tennis. What am I going to do??? Glad Spain won the World Cup, of course and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing though I hope it leaves South Africa with some kind of positive legacy. I was watching Pepe Reina lead the celebrations in Madrid, introducing each player to the crowd with a few funny affectionate  words and  reflecting on the fact that the Spanish team have an amazing team spirit, both on and off the pitch.  I think it was a good result for football in general that they won, especially against a Dutch team that seemed to have forgotten how to play the wonderful football they invented.

The protests against Tom and George, the LFC owners, continue apace  ( thanks to those who have asked me how it’s all going).  People seem to think we  (LFC fans) must be pleased with Roy Hodgson’s appointment as manager. Am not entirely sure why they should think this, except that Roy is a darling of the media and Rafa most certainly wasn’t. Come the new season it will be interesting to see who’s on the pitch, as there are rumours of half the team going. The prospect of the new season certainly doesn’t  fill me with the usual sense of  anticipation and excitement.  I haven’t forgotten that I promised to pose in our new ‘alternative’ Liverpool shirt.  The reason you can’t see me in it is that I haven’t got one yet, but as soon as it arrives I promise I will take the pic of my big breasts straining against the fabric!

I’m finally sorting out my whereabouts over the summer. It’s all complicated by the school holidays of course, but am pretty much sorted up until September so I’ll fill my diary in! Am hoping for a long hot summer, but it’s looking a bit gloomy out there today after the heat of the last couple of weeks.  I love the hot weather, but a bit of rain on my allotment fruit and veggies is most welcome.
